He stumbles across Craig ( Cube) and Day-Day's ( Mike Epps) apartment. It is Christmas time, and an appropriately themed robber is going around the neighbourhood stealing presents.
It is so predictable that I could have fast forwarded through half the movie and still have known what was happening. It regurgitates a tired formula of fart jokes, slapstick humour, and boy chasing girl who is out of reach. It is very hard to be objective about a comedy that did not make me laugh once. Friday After Next is one of the least funny comedies I have ever seen, and I laugh at all the Police Academy films, even after the hundredth viewing. The second, Next Friday, was an average follow-up, with a few laughs, but nothing special.
The first, Friday, was an original comedy based in black suburbia. Unfortunately, the franchise has declined in quality, as well as quantity (the runtime is only 80 minutes, whilst the previous two scraped in at the 90 minute mark). Writer/Producer/Actor Ice Cube returns for the third instalment in the Friday franchise.
